When fiction goes ART-ificial

Pop art was already able to elevate the iconic figure of Mickey Mouse into an art form in the 1950s. Many artists, such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Banksy, have already followed this in the present.

But what if we could go back in time? A time machine in art to bring fiction from the past to the present. Just like stories have told our past, they also tell our future. The images symbolize these stories, but also the right to turn something existing into something new. “After all, creativity comes from intertwining two seemingly separate things.” No bike or car would exist if the inventor of the wheelbarrow had a patent on the wheel.
